Casting Notice for Jimmy "Thunder" Early

Audition Notice

Show: DREAMGIRLS, Created by Tom Eyen and Henry Krieger

The Lone Tree Arts Center in Colorado is actively seeking video auditions for the role of Jimmy “Thunder” Early in our upcoming fall production of Dreamgirls.

AEA and non-union actors are welcome to submit (equity LORT D contract). Submission deadline is Wednesday, May 24th.

Casting both local and non-local talent! The minimum weekly rate for a principal role is $900.

JIMMY ‘THUNDER’ EARLY is a Black/African American, male-identifying in his late 30’s—a popular RnB star who, over time, loses his fame. Married but has an affair with Lorrell. An outrageous ‘star’ performer. High energy, chaotic.
