The 19th Annual Exploring the Light Photo Show will be from May 26, 2021 - July 18, 2021. The show is presented by the Lone Tree Arts Commission and the Lone Tree Photo Club, with support from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD).

2021 Juror - Glenn Randall

Glenn Randall has been a full-time photographer, writer, and instructor for 42 years. Over 2,000 of his photographs have been published, including 87 covers, and he’s sold over 10,000 prints. Rocky Nook published the second edition of his book The Art, Science, and Craft of Great Landscape Photography in the spring of 2020. It published his book Dusk to Dawn: A Guide to Landscape Photography at Night in spring 2018. Farcountry Press published three books of his landscape photographs: Rocky Mountain National Park Impressions, Colorado Wild & Beautiful, and Sunrise from the Summit: First Light on Colorado’s Fourteeners. Glenn has had 25 feature articles published in Outdoor Photographer, where he is a contributing editor.

 

Prizes 

Total Cash awards are estimated at $3,250. Best of Show as well as first and second place winners in each category will be awarded gallery space for several weeks at the Lone Tree Arts Center following the photo show. Awards include, first, second and third place in every category, Best of Show and People’s Choice.
 

Exploring the Light - 2021 Photo Show Book for Purchase 

With photographer’s permission, the Lone Tree Photo Club will compose a book with accepted entries representing Exploring the Light 2021. Accepted images will be printed with the photographer’s name and information about the image such as location, camera and the story behind the photo. Exploring the Light will be available for viewing and purchase online after the close of the show.
