Student Matinees

The Lone Tree Arts Center provides children in the South Metro area and beyond with access to professional artists and performances that engage imaginations and enrich lives. Our student matinee program allows for low-cost admission to top performances that integrate into your existing curriculum, including STEM, history, humanities, literacy, and more.

Fill out the reservation request form or contact the Box Office at 720-509-1000 for more information. Also be sure to read the student matinee guide.

The Student Matinee Experience

What to Expect
  • Often, matinee performances include “talk-backs” where actors, directors, writers, or technical staff stay after the performance to answer students’ questions.
  • Every student matinee includes a study guide or teacher resource to further the experience within the classroom.
  • Lone Tree Arts Center classroom ambassadors are available to visit classrooms to prepare students for their visit.

Cost: Group tickets are $7 each and one complimentary chaperone ticket is available for every 10 student tickets purchased (limit 10 free tickets per group).

Financial Assistance and Busing

LTAC understands that one of the biggest obstacles to attending live theater is the cost of getting here. Funding is available to provide ticket scholarships and bus reimbursement. Please let us know on your application form if you require financial assistance.
