Betsy Schwarm and Phillip Stevens: Trios with Harp
|No events found.|
Most classical trios combine piano, violin, and cello. This program varies the mix by using harp, flute, and viola. Sparkling, song-like, and soulful: delightfully different. The beloved Impressionist composer Claude Debussy composed a luscious trio for that combination, inspiring others to try their hand. We’ll hear a trio of such trios, and discover a bit about what makes the three instruments work so well together.
