Please note: Due to unforeseen circumstances, Donna McKechnie is unable to perform at the Arts Center on Saturday, October 16. We are pleased to announce that Andrea McArdle will now be joined by Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young, who originated the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys.
Two of musical theatre’s legendary leads team up for an evening devoted to the best of Broadway through the years. Andrea McArdle originated the title role in Broadway’s Annie, and since then she has developed into a powerhouse interpreter of musical theatre and The Great American Songbook. Joining her is Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young, who originated the role of Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys. As Valli, Young garnered unprecedented accolades from New York and national media, including one of the most the most exciting New York Times reviews ever written for an actor making a Broadway debut. Mr. Young went on to win the Lead Actor Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle, and Theatre World Awards, becoming the only American actor in history to win all four leading actor awards for a Broadway debut.
