Arts in the Afternoon: The Classical Piano Quartet- But Just One Piano!
1:30pm

About the event
Would four grand pianos actually fit on LTAC’s stage? Fortunately, for a classical piano quartet, you’d only need one piano. Add a violin, a viola, and a cello, and you have what even Mozart would have called a piano quartet. Four friends might play piano quartets in a home with a piano. Just add three string instruments! For a professional recital, gather four colleagues on stage. In this case, those colleagues are friends, too! Violist Phillip Stevens and Company present a program of piano quartets. Concert host Betsy Schwarm will share musical insights and thoughts for listening.
