About the event
Originally presented by the Colorado Symphony, the Lone Tree Arts Center is proud to host In Conversation – an opportunity for arts leaders of color to discuss where we’ve been, where we are, and where we are going. Registration is free, but required, and you are encouraged to register ahead of time. Please reserve as many “tickets” as there are attendees.
TIMELINE: 5-6pm – Networking Happy Hour
6:15-8:15pm – Panel Discussion
In this series, an esteemed panel will discuss a broad array of subjects related to artistic representation, actionable steps towards systemic change, and the importance of the arts in making meaningful progress. More than just about representation, this panel focuses on direct, personal stories and perspectives from diverse, living artists. These moments offer us the opportunity to bring our community together and foster social understanding.
Audience members will hear panelists discuss their careers, perspectives, and experiences as living artists and address how to take action to establish equitable systems and systemic change for BIPOC representation in the arts.
Complimentary appetizers will be served, and audience members will be invited to engage in a moderated Q&A.”
