About the event
We introduce each of the instruments and have them play a solo for kids to listen to and learn about each of them. We also make connections between music and storytelling and explore how music can express emotions, characters, plots and settings. We also read a book to our audience as the instruments improvise. At the end, all the instruments come together at the end and invite the kids to dance and perform along with shakers.
