About the event
In this hands-on Dinosaur Ridge program, young explorers become scientists, using their eyes and hands to investigate real fossils and fossil replicas. Making simple observations – shapes, textures, and patterns – children and their parents discover how fossils give us clues that help scientists figure out what dinosaurs looked like, how they lived, and the stories they left behind. Through play, touch, and imagination, kids learn that even small fossils can tell big prehistoric stories! This program will feature real and replica fossils as well as a mess-free dinosaur poop-making activity great for all ages!
