Lone Tree’s annual Backyard Beats: Southern Street Eats event focuses on all types of cuisine from south of the Colorado border – Southern comfort, Cajun, Creole, Central and South American, Tex-Mex, and everything in between!
Purchase the Southern Sampler Pass to receive a specialty sample dish from each of the three competing food trucks. These off-menu dishes are available exclusively to Southern Sampler Pass holders. After tasting from each truck, pass holders can cast their vote for the People’s Choice Award winner.
The Southern Street Eats theme for 2026 is barbeque. From smoked and grilled meats to dishes seasoned with flavorful sauces and rubs, each truck’s specialty sample will show off their best take on this distinctive cooking method. Whether it’s traditional American barbeque, Brazilian churrasco, Argentinian asado, Korean barbeque, or a unique culinary fusion, food trucks will bring their A-game to compete for 1st prize!
This FREE concert is all about creating memorable experiences with your family, friends, and neighbors in your own backyard!
In addition to the Southern Sampler Passes, food trucks will offer cash/card sales from their regular menus.
