SPARK! Armchair Travel --Splendid Spain

1:30pm

About the event

Come join us as we explore the Culture of Spain. We’ll take a look at art and architecture (historic & contemporary) in various parts of Spain. We’ll listen to some different sounds and expressions of music. We’ll drool over some delicious culinary specialties and look at how food and community are closely linked! We’ll peek into an unusual festival, La Mercé, celebrated each year in Barcelona. We’ll appreciate how history has shaped and influenced the Spain we see today. This session will be facilitated by Maureen Holland.
