Ugly Seasonal Sweater Youth Auditions

Audition Information

Young performers ages 9 – 16 are invited to audition for The Ugly Seasonal Sweater Soiree, an original holiday show produced by Rave On Productions and set to perform at the Lone Tree Arts Center December 17 – 21st.

Auditions: Monday, July 14, 2025 from 10am-3pm

Callbacks: Monday, July 14, 2025 from 5pm-8pm

Lone Tree Arts Center, 10075 Commons Street, Lone Tree, CO

In-person auditions only. Initial auditions will be held individually and callbacks will be in groups. Video submissions will not be considered.

PLEASE NOTE: Initial auditions and callbacks are held on the same day. Callback invitations will be made through texts and emails after initial auditions, so you must be available to come back if invited.

Performers interested in auditioning should prepare a song and monologue from the show. Performers can choose to sing “JINGLE BELL ROCK” OR “RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER.” Matthew McGuigan, music director, will accompany on the piano. Performers are also asked to prepare a monologue from the show. Choose from “I SAW MOMMY KISSING SANTA CLAUS,” “THE GRINCH,” or “RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER .”

About Rehearsals and Performances

Rehearsals will take place over Zoom as needed, prior to December 12. In-person rehearsals and performances will take place at the Lone Tree Arts Center beginning December 12. Youth performers will be assigned roles and required to have their lines memorized prior to the first rehearsal. Due to the tight rehearsal schedule, we are not able to accept any conflicts.

Compensation

$250 rehearsal stipend plus $50 per show

The Ugly Seasonal Sweater Soiree is a hilarious and heartwarming original holiday show featuring a live band and packed with festive fun. This brand-new production takes a playful look at the quirks of our favorite December traditions – because let’s face it, it’s not all fun and reindeer games! With treasured seasonal songs, holiday cheer, and plenty of festive fashion, it’s a night of music and merriment the whole family will love!
